Our new Managing Director |
Guardtech are delighted to announce that Mark Wheeler has assumed the role of Managing Director of the company.
Mark steps up from the position of Commercial Director to take up the post – with his father and company owner Ray Wheeler becoming Chairman and Conor Barwise retaining his role as Projects Director to continue their three-pronged Executive Board.
In his role as Commercial Director, Mark played a significant part in increasing revenue from £3m in 2020 to a projected total exceeding £20m this year. During that time, he led the restructure of the business to form the Guardtech Group – comprised of Cleanroom Solutions (large-scale turnkey construction), Guardtech Cleanrooms (traditional modular systems), Cleancube (portable, plug-and-play container facilities), Isopod (quick-assembly pods), Isoblok (pre-fabricated modules) and Guardware (furniture & equipment).
This strategic evolution of a company first established in 2000 has allowed Guardtech to cover every base in the full cleanroom life cycle, offering an elite cleanroom solution for any application of any size across the wide spectrum of Life Sciences and High-Tech Engineering.

Charity Champions returns! |
Guardtech's Charity Champions initiative has returned – and boy have we netted a great cause this time around.
Installation Manager legend Wayne Smith teed us up to sponsor team shirts for a charity football match at Harborough Town FC for Be More Fab – a charity that supports children with cancer through tuition, emotional support, family resources and education for schools, universities and the public.
Wayne's son Aiden will manage the #bemorefab XI against the Squires Effect XI at the game on 4 July.
We've pledged £1,000 to sponsor the shirts – and I think we can all agree, that's definitely worth a celebration or two! GOOOOAAAAALLLL!
Watch this space for some amazing pictures of the Guardtech branded kit in action!
